Reverend Taken Down by Police
Reverend Lennox Yearwood waiting in line to listen to General Petraeus’ testimony before a joint session of house is not only arrested but tackled to the ground. The Reverend suffered physical injury as a result of his connections with the anti-war movement.
Rev. Yearwood is the President of the Hip Hop Caucus, yes Hip Hop. “The Caucus’ programs promote social and political equality in the area of Economics, Education, Health Care, Housing, and Justice.” The Reverend is an honorable man receiving his Masters in Divinity from Harvard University and has dedicated his life to realizing the power of the people through spirituality and artistic creation. This same man is thrown to the ground and assaulted by police.
My girl, blue gal from the 35% percenters offers more on the abuse of police power on a Reverend wearing a button that declared “I love the people of Iraq.”
