Earth Peace Full Moon Meditation

Posted for June’s Full Moon and Summer Solstice.

I’m excited and look forward to playing my part in building the healing matrix today for the Earth Peace Full Moon Mass Meditation. Tonight between the hours of 7:00pm and 10:00pm your local time take some time to observe silence within, acknowledge the divine spirit and with pure intent project your divine light toward Earth Peace and Healing. We, the Earth, all expressions of life and our universe in their singularity are pure energy. By becoming aware of the divine universal within you through meditation you are feeding the Universe your projections.

During the Full Moon the waters of Earth heed to the Cosmic Force. Within the center of your brain lies the pineal gland, the Vedas describe this as the Hamsa or Swan. The pineal gland is very interesting and I’ll go more in depth in another post but for now you should know that the gland contains water.

See the connection.

With the added force of the Full Moon willfull meditation, especially utilizing mantras, will create vibrational energy which will ripple the water in your pineal gland which is already feeling the Cosmic connection to the Moon.

As above, So below. Your pineal gland, your physical brain’s and consciousness center relates to the center of our galaxy, The Milky Way. The aim of full time, no holds barred, gurus’ meditations in the wilderness are focused on connecting their center to the center of the Universe.

The Center of every galaxy, including our own, is home to a super massive black hole whose mass relates to 10 solar masses. It’s force, when active, swallows whole galaxies. Ours and our near by galaxies are silent as they are not feeding, but nevertheless present. When a black hole is active you get a Quasar, by the way.

The mass of a super massive black hole is relative to the size of it’s revolving galaxy. So there is a strong relationship between the two.

This is what excites me. The center of a super massive black hole is beyond our understanding but it is called the singularity. The Zero Not Zero. The Singularity has no volume. It’s mass and gravity is infinite. It is nothing and everything, simultaneously.

I made a seredipedious connection between the atoms of life and space awhile ago but the illumination had not gelled until now. I saw documentaries on Super Massive Black Holes and Super String Theory and it came to me. Then I stumbled upon Yogiraj Gurunath who articulated that connection in a way that validated my own observations.

Science and devotion is The Rasa, or essence, of the Vedas. Though, the experience of deep meditation is beyond scientific reasoning [a lot of advances though] I have no doubt that there lies a cosmic connection to the experience.

What makes this Full Moon so special is that it is in the sign of Saggitarrius. The Center of the Milky Way is located in the sign of Saggitarrius. On the Summer Solstice, Friday the Sun will stop it’s revolution around the Center of the Universe for one day. A power atmosphere to be harvested for individual, collective and cosmic healing work.

I have never belonged to a pagan group off-line before, and this is my virtual tribe. This will be perhaps my third Solstice celebration. When I was younger I would convince my sister and friend to join me to speak to the moon, yeah I know speak to the moon on the solstice. The intent was there.

This week I will be conducting two rituals, one today with the Full Moon and one for the Solistice. Both will be primarily focused on Earth Peace meditation and Earth Healing. I am still a novice with rituals and appreciate the knowledge and connections.

I will be including my three young boys in my efforts. My oldest 7 attends a 12 month school so I am keeping him home, Friday. I have taught them the Mahamrityunjay Mantra, a powerful Vedic mantra for healing. When done correctly all your breath or prana travels the length of the 7 chakras. This mantra will play the starring role today and Friday.
I will be making the Mahamrityunjay Mantra japa or cycle with a mala [similar to rosary] 108 times.

This is a powerful mantra for healing .
Om Triayambakam Yaja Mahe Sugandhim Pushti Vardhanam.

Urvarukamiva Bhandhanat Mrutyhor Mukshiya Ma Amritat.

I really like Mahadevan’s [linked] version since when chanted with this rhythm properly, the mantra is sung within only 2 full breaths.

After the boys are asleep, I will go further using the Mahamrityunjay Mantra with two sets of mudras or hand positions. Mudras utilize the body’s network of nerves in meditation.

The first Mudra I will use is the Gyan.Gyan This position is grounding, calms and improves concentration. While sitting in the lotus, crossed legged, position lay your hands on your thighs and gently press the tip of your thumb to the tip of your index finger. This mudra controls your ego, the thumb. There is no ego in meditation.

The second Mudra I will use is the Active Gyan. Active GyanThis position imparts active knowledge. While still in lotus posture with hands again on your thighs your first joint of the index finger is bent under the first joint of the thumb.

What’s a festive ritual without adornments, right. I decided to apply a henna design to my left hand to illustrate the energies I am targeting with the mudras.

For fun, I played with the photos a bit. solarizedhenna
This week I have been cleaning and cleansing my home and will be preparing a feast for the Solstice. I haven’t really thought of any recipes but for their symbolic value will include pomegranate, apples, mushrooms, rosemary, and a sun cake. I would love to find any recipes for the occasion. I will share what I come up with soon.

I am also looking for a graphic or visualization of the placement of the solar system preferably included in relation to the Milky Way. I am interested in using this as a visualization since on the Solistice the Sun stands still, therefore in direct contact with the galactic center. I think that visualizing our center and projecting it toward our galactic center will further the effects of the Earth Peace meditation.
