Ms. Vyas, I am a little confused, because I thought the blogswarm today was gonna be about the Congo… :-) … but I’m gonna be finishing up my post tonight (already published it to get the basic thesis out into the world), but I’d been thinking about comparing the “depopulation” aspect to the “depopulation for raw materials” theory I’ve read and tend to agree with about Darfur.

So…by the time I’ve actually written out my Congo post I linked to, I might have participated in your blogswarm a bit. :-)

    Thanks for doing it.

    Greetings.

I am glad to discover your blog. I hope to read the solutions ppl posts. One possible idea -please tell me what y’all think- is what if we could pressure the world? the United Nations? somebody to make the resources of the land a public one -for the people. For the natives. To benefit the country, the infrastructure. Is that far fetched?

    Thank you.

I just came from Trav’s. There is a wealth of information here. I commend you on the organization and passion it took to get this accomplished today. I am learning a lot as I visit.
Darfur is an unspeakable humanitarian nightmare.

I thought today was for blogging in solidarity with the rape epidemic in the Congo….

Oh gosh, I’m always getting these things mixed up. And I spent a lot of time writing a good post too:

    Thanks,
