Old School Friday Music Meme 10th Installment

This week’s theme is crooners. If you’ve been around these parts long enough you know that my musical taste is very wide and varied, indeed. I have a soft spot for the classic crooners.

I present two versions of Mona Lisa.

By Nat King Cole

By Bing Crosby click here.

As you know I also chose Nat! He is the epitome of a classic Crooner to me. I think a “Crooner” is very different from a male singer, Nat just oozes grace! He is certainly in a different class!
    Have a great weekend!

Oh, man Nat King Cole! Anything he did I loved - would the two of you like to join me and Sir Paul on the Island? Yeah, I know, but you can bring his spirit!!!!
Could you imagine Nat King Cole and Paul McCartney together - what a combo!

How did I miss this Friday? I like Nat King Cole, but only around Christmas. He is the voice of Christmas for me, and it doesn’t feel like Christmas until I hear Nat, oh and Donny Hathaway…
