The theme this week for O.S.F. is Kid Groups.
I decided to show how much my musical tastes have matured. I’m from Boston so when these fools came out I was a nut for New Kids on the Block, yeah I know.

LOL I don’t know what it was, but I did NOT like them back then. Maybe because I felt they were trying to replace New Edition. You know a sista is loyal like that. LOL

NKOB were the bomb, I remember girls in my school had pins, posters, book bags, pencil, scrunchies. You name it, it had NKOB on it. I like this song, but this one is not my favorite.

Happy OSF! I remember the NKOTB craze. It seems that Mark Wahlburg is the only one that managed to transition from Kid Group to adult in the world of entertainment. I enjoy watching Mark Wahlburg movies nowadays. I wonder what he thinks of these videos when he sees them?
Thank you for visiting my Ol’ School Jackson 5 response to the ‘Kid’s Group’ theme. I invite your blog readers to check it out if they have time or inclinaton.

OK, I’m not ashamed to admit that I liked that song. I knew the lyrics and choreography. NKOTB were great back in the day.

The era of the boy bands…
Danielle, this does indeed take me back a l’il bit. I admit I was never quite a fan of the Kids, but after watching the video I must confess their stage moves aren’t half bad!
That was fun.
