The precedence needs to be set: Our Constitution must be honored by the our public servants and if it is not, there needs to be measurable consequences in order to restore justice. A true patriot stands by the potential of their country. Our country was granted such potential by our founding documents, carefully composed with a sound eye to the past and a clear vision of the future. This potential has yet to be fully achieved but that is quite alright; we are still but babes in the history of state organizations.
- We have experienced the void of hatred and have seen first hand the atrocities that hatred fuels.
- We have seen dedicated soldiers of humanity rise up against inequality facing seemingly insurmountable odds.
- We have experienced the greed that causes the devaluation of human worth in order to increase profits.
- We have seen great shows of communal generosity serving humanity out of love and respect.
- We have seen the leaders of this country for a generation, each term grow more and more disconnected from the needs of this country and her people, and more beholden to corporate interests who have covered the earth in a capitalist campaign reaching now nearly all corners of the globe.
- We will see once again this Nation demand Justice and a return once again to the aim of fulfilling the promise of democracy.
As this time approaches it is imperative that Justice is not tainted by revenge or diminished by acts of hubris. No, Justice is what we seek. Restoration to a commitment to building a truly representative government that holds an ever changing population as their leader is the objective and aim.
Do not bury democratic ideals because they have been disrespected and abused in the name of greed and economic progress.
In the Hindu epic poem, the Ramayana, there is a part that is still to this day a great matter of debate. It is Rama’s refusal of Sita after she is kidnapped by Ravana. Rama’s argument is that she is tainted, because Ravana had the opportunity to molest her, not that he did so. Sita in order to quell all doubt stepped onto a fiery pyre to demonstrate her purity as the flames left her unscathed.
Some argue that Rama refusal to accept the kidnapped Sita was for society’s sake, to bring home the ideal of a woman’s purity being equivalent to her worth. Some say that Rama’s act was proof that though he was a reflection of God, he was a man and therefore flawed and that Sita showed her shakti or power through perseverance and granting the supreme power jurisdiction over her innocence.
I lean toward the second interpretation of the poem and compare Sita to the ideals of democracy. Though they have been hijacked they are not tainted and by the laws of justice and application of critical thinking and logic, Democracy can be restored to it’s pure state.

“The Peace” A 2003 Documentary presented by The Cat’s Dream created by award winners Gabriele Zamparini and Lorenzo Meccoli is definitely a must see movie. From September 2002 until May of 2003, scores of interviews and video footage were collected to document the global deception of war; to which impeachment is the ultimate solution. Impeachment will establish the precedence fueled by the public represented by the millions who rose up on February 15th, 2003 before the Invasion!, for peace in the name of humanity, peace. We must clear the crude from our eyes, from our perceptions in order to recognize the great legacy we have been granted throughout the entire history of humanity. Each victory in the name of peaceful sustainability, no matter the size is contained within this active legacy. Each time a person empowered by the truth has been able to speak to the masses, we can add that to our arsenal.Jesus rose up against the exclusion of the public to God’s teachings, Martin Luther rose up against the Catholic Church against the systematic exclusion of the public to God’s teachings, Mohammad rose up against those who would suppress their freedom to worship God as they had experienced him, Gandhi rose up against colonial disruption, corruption and occupation in the name of economic interests, Martin Luther King Jr. rose up against the exclusion of all minorities in the measure of human worth, and there are countless others in each nation who have risen up against the exclusion of the public in the fabric of life. They have all deposited their active energy within our arsenal. Those who have elaborated upon these simple souls, who were all empowered by the spirit of truth, and created arts to capture the rasa, to spread the seeds of empowerment to the individuals, enlightening others to the simple and pure fact that we are the makers of our physical reality through and by our actions both collectively and personally. These artists have all deposited their active energy within our arsenal. When I look into the mirror and measure my content, I know that I am but a reflection of humanity. I am never alone in my rationales, my drives, my dreams, my fears; there are many others speaking in many tongues that share these same conclusions in their own individual way.
If I want peace. You want peace.
If I want sustainable life paths globally. You want sustainable life paths globally.
We may vary on our level of desire. We will definitely vary in our reasonings. We will be in some ways flawed. We will all be reflections of the divine. Sustainable Peace when it is accomplished will be recognized as the One True Divinity to which individually we will seed, protect and share and communally organize.
